Oilfield Overview
The Gallup Oilfield, owned by Lan Ma Oil and Gas LLC and operated by Interstate Petroleum Inc., is located in the Four Corners region of northwestern New Mexico (San Juan County). The project area totals approximately 9,322 acres, covering multiple development blocks within a proven producing basin.
Mature Field, Real Upside
A mature field with remaining recoverable reserves and redevelopment opportunities through modern well planning and operational discipline.
Active Operations Footprint
Current well inventory includes producing, injection, shut-in and legacy wells, creating multiple workover and optimization pathways.
Multi-Formation Potential
Development focus includes the shallow Gallup Formation, with additional upside from deeper horizons such as the Paradox system.
Reserves & Upside
*) The Gallup Formation conventional reservoir was evaluated with estimated geological reserves of ~64.54 MMbbl, and technically recoverable reserves of ~12.82 MMbbl.
*) Cumulative production is approximately ~6.21 MMbbl, with remaining recoverable reserves estimated at ~10.36 MMbbl.
*) For deeper potential (Paradox), the report references a median technically recoverable reserve case of ~31.43 MMbbl (scenario-based), supporting meaningful long-term upside.
Development Strategy
Interstate Petroleum Inc. emphasizes low-cost, disciplined horizontal development and precise wellbore placement. Near-bit / LWD tools support geosteering to keep laterals within the target sandstone interval, maximizing contact with productive zones and improving recovery.
